Marion resides in SoCal with his wife Shirley, and their two buddies, Teddy, and Trouble.

He has worn out several hats over the years-Coach, Veteran, Teacher, Restaurateur, DJ, and Telecom. He loves to pack, camp, and explore the back country’s highlands and he especially enjoys nights around the campfire on starry nights. He also enjoys garden landscaping and sitting down with a good book.

When his children were young he read to them and wrote them short stories for fun. With his first children’s book, “Looking for Trouble,” the fun continues as he writes for all children, and for the child within us all. The second book “The Jade Mystery” takes the Doggy hero’s on an exciting adventure to solve the mystery of Jade.

“Our dogs, Teddy, and Trouble are from a Labrador litter of 13, nurtured by Misty and Yeller and raised by our family. The pups all found new homes and moved on, but Teddy and Trouble are still here with us.”

“All of our Adventures of Teddy and Trouble books have 25 Answer Me This, questions at the end of the story. Children love to search through the story to find the answers which give them important skills for learning.”
